RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

ACCESS COUNSELOR - WHATCOM ALLIANCE FOR HEALTHCARE ACCESS
The Whatcom Alliance for Healthcare Access (WAHA), a local nonprofit organization, is seeking a full time Access Counselor. WAHA’s Access Counselors help people get health insurance and access to care, working with clients in person and over the phone to assist with health insurance screenings and applications, and connecting with other community programs to get the care they need. Access Counselors work as part of a team and receives client referrals from school districts, medical offices, community health centers, the hospital and human service organizations. Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
