The Whatcom Council of Nonprofits serves ALL nonprofits in Whatcom County. and you can become a General Member by simply completing and mailing the enclosed WCN Membership Form. However, special benefits are offered to those who become paid members. Our membership benefits are as follows:
Benefits for Individual Membership ($25) and Participating Organization Membership ($35)
- Recognition in WCN newsletter and on new WCN web site (available 03/01)
- WCN newsletter
- Roster of Members
- Access to nonprofit technical assistance and networking opportunities
- Reduced training and registration fees for Individuals or for two people from a member Organization
- Basic one page web page (available 6/01) for nonprofit organizations that do not have a site and links for those that do
- WCN Technical Assistance Journal
Additional benefits for Sponsoring Organization Membership level ($60)
- Reduced training and registration fees for unlimited people from your organization.
Membership fees are an important source of revenue for the Whatcom Council of Nonprofits. These revenues make it possible to bring you quality, low cost workshops, forums, trainings and technical assistance. However, in an effort to serve every nonprofit organization, WCN offers free General Membership to those organizations with no financial resources. The benefits of a free General Membership is as follows:
