WCN Programs and Services:
COMMUNITY NONPROFIT CALENDAR
in February, 2007 we launched the calendar feature for the nonprofit community in Whatcom County to help us coordinate our events better so that we're not hosting major events on the same date. So, here it is! It will only work if we all use it.
WCN eNEWS
WCN eNews is a free weekly email newsletter that highlights upcoming nonprofit events, training and education, resources needed and offered, jobs in the local nonprofit sector, funding opportunities, and more. To subscribe to WCN eNews or to submit content, email: wcn@whatcomcoalition.org

"Whatcom Nonprofits Speak to the National Nonprofit Congress"

This meeting is a follow-up to a nation-wide series of Town Hall meetings that in 2006 that resulted in three priority areas being selected for state and national agendas to promote and advocate for the sector: Nonprofit organizational effectiveness, public awareness and support for the sector, and advocacy and grassroots community activities. Those priorities were submitted to the Nonprofit Congress. With the second Nonprofit Congress scheduled for June, 2008, WCN is hosting this event with others around the state to discuss how our communities address the three priorities, what works, and how we can build on strengths. The results of our discussions will be submitted to the Nonprofit Congress for consideration, so please join us for what is sure to be a lively and productive conversation. Free and open to the public.
